WHAT IS THE BEST WAY TO PREPARE FOR INTERNATIONAL TRAVEL?

Here are a couple tips:

Have a digital copy of your passport available on a secure cloud platform (iCloud, Google Drive, DropBox) for emergencies
Bring a pen! You will need to fill out paperwork at customs and there will be a line (a very long one) just to use a pen.
Google Maps lets you download offline maps of whatever area you are visiting to use when your cellular data is not available. This allows you to be able to get around the city without being charged for roaming.

WHAT KIND OF CURRENCY DO I NEED IN MEXICO?

Mexico uses the Mexican Peso but will also accept the US Dollar, it is likely that you will always receive change in pesos. From our experience, there is no need to exchange currency before you get there, they will gladly take USD.

$1 USD ≈ $20 MXN. We recommend only using cash when in Mexico to avoid any travel fees/cancellations on your credit cards. We also recommend placing a travel notice on your credit card just in case.

Basically, cash is king.

WHAT FLIGHT SHOULD I TAKE? WHERE DO I FLY OUT FROM?

Your flight preference is your flight preference. But we do recommend searching for flights in surrounding international airports to compare pricing for departure. If the price difference is a substantial amount, it may justify the additional travel to the airport.

We also ask that all guests living in the same area fly in together to facilitate travel from the airport to the villa which we will coordinate. We will send out information to those parties so you can coordinate travel as a group.

I ALREADY KNOW YOU GUYS ARE GOING TO STUNT, WHAT SHOULD I WEAR?!

You're right, we're going to make sure we look good at all times. Keep in mind the climate for Puerto Vallarta in May is fairly warm with the avg. high/low being 85° / 71°. It will also be the beginning of the rainy season so expect some humidity.

We recommend bringing your wedding day attire (ESPECIALLY THE BRIDAL PARTY) in your carry on just in case.

DO I NEED A NEGATIVE COVID TEST FOR RE-ENTRY TO THE U.S.?

Yes, all guests will be subject to a COVID-19 test for re-entry back into the United States. We will arrange for a doctor to come to the villa to perform these tests. Please account an additional $90-$100 for this expense.
